Inside the Oxford by Trico Homes
Entry and pocket office
The entry has a great closet and room for a bench or a small table with a mirror. A nook leads to the future basement, and the pocket office has barn doors that slide closed. It works as a home office, a kids play area, or a homework and games room. The garage entrance is right nearby.
Kitchen, dining, and living room
The main floor is my favourite part of this home. The back of the house is all windows, and because this lot faces south, it's full of sunshine. The crisp white kitchen has an off-centre sink so you have room to prep, an island with seating for three or four, a built-in oven and microwave, a gas range with a chimney hood fan, and so many soft close drawers. A walk-in pantry with a motion sensor light gives you tons of storage, and there's a spot by the fridge for a coffee bar or charging station. The layout lets a few people cook together without getting in each other's way.
The dining area has room for a round or rectangular table and a wall for a hutch or family photos. The living room has a tile feature wall with an electric fireplace and space for a sectional. A bonus closet tucked by the stairs uses space that would otherwise be wasted.
Upstairs: bonus room, primary suite, and laundry
A wide staircase with soft grey carpet leads to a bonus room with a big window, perfect for a TV area or a second play space. The primary suite has big windows and room for a king bed and a dresser. The ensuite has a pocket door, a double vanity with drawers and two outlets, a full width mirror, an upgraded tile shower with easy to clean glass, a tub, a private toilet area, and a deep walk-in closet with a motion sensor light.
The walk-in laundry room separates the primary suite from the kids' rooms, which helps with noise, and has linen storage and room for drying racks. Both spare bedrooms are a great size and each has its own walk-in closet. The full bathroom has a wide, deep tub and a vanity with storage.
What do new homes cost in Rivercrest?
New build prices in Rivercrest depend on the builder, plan, lot, and upgrades. For context, CREB's Cochrane detached benchmark was $657,600 in September 2026. Builders adjust pricing and incentives often, especially on quick possession homes, so ask me what's current.
Why use your own agent for a new build?
The show home team works for the builder. I spent six years in new home sales before becoming an agent, so I know what to ask, which upgrades matter for resale, and how to compare builders and lots. Having your own agent means someone is in your corner from contract to possession.
